Join Boulder Cycling Club for our seventh annual cycling trip to Moab! This is our favorite event of the year–Four days of unforgettable cycling and spectacular scenery, three nights of lodging (double occupancy), breakfast and most lunches included, free beer, and lots of laughter—priceless, we know, but you can participate for the new low price of only $265 (double occupancy). Due to the Coronavirus restrictions, we have rescheduled this year’s event to the Fall. The average high temperature is 74.3 degrees and we will have fewer tourists to contend with. This trip will take place beginning on Thursday, October 15th and finish on Sunday, October 18th.
We will be staying in the Moab Valley Inn again this year, which is right on Main Street and walking distance to Bike Shops, Stores and Restaurants. The Inn is taking extra cleaning and sanitization precautions this year and will provide to go breakfasts instead of the community room. Masks are mandated in Moab restaurants and they are providing extra spacing. The National Parks and Dead Horse Point are open.
We are targeting this trip to be comfortable for all abilities, with multiple options each day for beginner, intermediate, and advanced Mountain Bikers. We will also target a road and/or gravel option for those members that like to keep 2 wheels on the pavement at all times. We will have more routes and the ride groups will be much smaller. Masks are required at all gatherings and when 6 feet spacing cannot be maintained.
We will arrange rooms and carpools only for partners and/or “safe pods”…you decide who you are comfortable with or you can request your own room at an additional cost. We will leave early Thursday morning, October 15th, stop in Fruita for lunch and a fun warm-up ride before arriving in Moab early evening. If your legs are up for it, we will ride full days on Friday and Saturday and again Sunday morning, October 18th, before returning to Boulder that evening.

The cost for this year’s trip is $265 per person and is due at registration. If you have to cancel, your payment may be refunded (less a $25 handling fee) anytime prior to September 29th. If you have to cancel after that date, we will attempt to resell your spot, but there are absolutely no guarantees that we will be successful in doing so. If we have to cancel due to worsening conditions in Moab or here, you will receive a full refund or a credit towards 2021 trip at your option.
