posted in: Cycling News, Notices, Ride Information | 0

Hi Everybody, There are lots of rides this week so I hope you can get out and join us on a ride or two!

This Saturday is the Countryside Ride and Niwot Brunch Ride! We’ll meet at Valmont Park at 9:00 have a leisurely ride out to Niwot then reward ourselves with a nice brunch and then head home. I can’t think of a better way to spend a Sat then enjoying two of my favorite pastimes Cycling and Eating! Hope you can come out and join us. Click here for more info. If you are planning on attending please email us at [email protected] so we can have a count for the restaurant.

If your looking for something a little more challenging here’s one for you road bikers: A tune up training ride for the Tour de Cure will be held this Saturday meeting at Bicycle Village. See Below for details. One of our members and a committee chairperson for the Tour de Cure, Todd, has done a great job of putting together a great jersey for out Boulder Cycling Club Tour de Cure team.

If your interested in a Tour de Cure jersey the cost is only $40.00 and they are way cool—- check out the photo’s of me in my very own! If you’ve signed up for the team we would like to ride together in groups depending on the distance you feel comfortable at. For instance I’ll be riding the 50 K so I can get back to man the promotion booth for the club at the event.

Speaking of which, if anyone is interested in helping work the table we ‘d love to have you. It will be a premier event with up to 2200 cycling participants so it will be an excellent place to promote the club. The Tour de Cure date is August 23 and the time frame is app. 11:00 to 5:00 so if you interested in working an hour or two please email me at [email protected]. Come on out and ride and support a great cause!

Tonight there are two rides from Boulder Brewery. Thursday night we have also two rides scheduled, along with three on Saturday, so click the rides link above to check out the details or check the calendar. As you can see there are plenty of opportunities to get out there and ride so come on out and join us for some fun in this warm summer sunshine!!!!
