8 PM Wednesday at Boulder Theater

Club members will be watching a great cycle race movie this Wednesday at 8 pm at the Boulder Theater, called “The Road to Roubaix”.  We will rally our group at the Lazy Dog roof deck bar at 6:30 PM for drinks and food, and then check out Bands on the Bricks on the way over to the theater. The movie is general admission, so you can also meet us at the theater.

The film tells the story of the riders, mechanics, fans, and the brutal, unpredictable landscape that is the stage for the famous Paris-Roubaix cycling race. It combines rare, behind-the-scenes footage, stunning panoramic views of the race route, a collection of contemporary photographs, as well as rare historic archival photographs that most people never see.
