The Boulder Cycling Club had it’s End of the Season Party last night and it was a great success. We want to thank all our members that came out and all the other folks who came bye to check out the club. We hope you had  good time and will considering joining the club! We would like to thank Jeff Brown of Boulder Beer for hosting the event and contributing gift certificates and food for our members. We also want to thank Bicycle Village, Dr Don Schmidt, Incredibell and Allstate Insurance for their generous donations of prizes for our free giveaway. In addition, thank you to Marcus of the Road to Victory Ride, Marie of the Blue River Century Ride, Bob from Assisted Cycling Tours and Todd from the American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure Ride for coming out and promoting their very worthy causes. the Boulder Cycling Club believes in giving back and promoting the cycling community. We have great respect for all these causes and appreciate all the hard work these individuals put into their events. Watch for our next monthly meeting to be held ot REI on Wednesday December 10, 2008 at 7:00 pm. Our special guest speakers will be discussing the new Valmont Park Project and all the cycling related aspects of the new park. Delicious light fare will be provided by Whole Foods. Come on out and find out about this new state of the art cycling center planned for Boulder.
