Boulder Cycling Club’s Pre Season Kick Off Party
The Boulder Cycling Club’s annual Pre Season Kick Off Party will be February 18, 2009 from 6:00pm to 9:00 pm at Bicycle Village at 28th and Pearl.
Free food and drinks will be available and prizes (including a Trek cruiser bike) will be raffled off every 15 minutes! Meet like-minded recreational cyclists; check out the organized ride schedule for the year and cycling advocacy programs promoted by the club.Food will be from Whole Foods and beer from our friends at Boulder Beer, and plenty of cycling oriented booths. Prizes Include Free yearly Memberships, Jerseys,T Shirts, Cafe of Life Free Massage Session, Whole Foods swag and more!
“It’s a great chance to get yourself psyched about the upcoming season and meet people who want to ride.” Says founder Donald Cicchillo who started the club as an alternative to all the very competitive clubs here in Boulder. “We offer something for the recreational oriented cyclist and combine a social atmosphere to our rides, like our famous summertime margarita ride which ends up at a Mexican restaurant”. With more rides, non-elite, encouraging environment and community involvement, Boulder Cycling Club has something for everyone!
About the Boulder Cycling Club: The Boulder Cycling Club was created to connect bike riders of all levels with organized rides and to create a network for cyclists to interact, communicate, and develop a community to further enhance the Boulder area as one of the finest cycle friendly environments in the USA.
